General fundraising activities are paramount in order for the Miamisburg Band Booster Community to ensure that infrastructure issues are maintained and attended to. Continuing education scholarships and recognition efforts are just one of the many areas that are provided through general fundraising initiatives. Equipment associated with transportation and operational needs require identification, repair and maintenance on a regular basis to support the numerous activities that are provided to our members under the Miamisburg Bands Program. Additionally, the Miamisburg Band Boosters must supply performance uniforms and equipment which are necessary to outfit members participating in competitive circles. Keeping pace with the infrastructural needs of the program is accomplished through general fundraising activities that are designed to reduce fees paid by band members. Without general fundraising efforts, the price of maintaining organizational resources would have to be absorbed by each and every participant in the program. Without a commitment to general fundraising, quality opportunities could not be secured, and membership would be cost-prohibitive.
