The Jazz Lab Band meets as a curricular ensemble in the fall, and will continue as an extra-curricular group once per week for the rest of the school year.  It is open to grades 9 - 12 by audition for proper instrumentation.  The class will learn several styles of jazz and the fundamentals of swing, as well as expose members to beginning improvisation.  The jazz ensemble will perform in local and regional festivals, and for many community activities throughout the year.
